2021 Emmy Winners: Complete List

Streaming services dominated many people’s pandemic lives. Will they dominate at this year’s Emmys, too?

The 73rd annual Emmy Awards show is happening right now in Los Angeles. The ceremony is primarily in person this year — in contrast to last year’s largely virtual event — with the comedian Cedric the Entertainer hosting.

Netflix’s British royal drama “The Crown” and Disney’s “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian,” which is on Disney+, are tied for most-nominated show, with 24 nominations each. Apple’s streaming service, Apple TV+, has a good chance of winning its first major Emmy with “Ted Lasso,” which is the favorite in the comedy category. It was a more traditional network — HBO — that led in overall nominations, with 130.
